Basic Assumptions

We were talking tonight at church about what our basic assumptions about life are, so I thought I'd go ahead and post some of mine here.

• I am loved by others and by God
  
• My actions affect the lives of others
  
• I'm called to make a difference for good
  
• Most people do the best they can with what they have
  
• While most people try to be good, we still have a bent to doing bad
  
• Life isn't fair
  
• God really cares how I live my life
  
• God is actively involved in the world
  
• Even when I don't get it, there is a big picture that is greater than just me
